Myra Harris

The story goes like this I was born at a very young age in St. louis Mo on September 20, 1962. I was told by family members that at 8 months old my then 4 years old biological brother carried me to my Great Grandmother and Great Aunt’s house. My Great Aunt had four children at this time only two were still home a girl and a boy. I group up with them. They were teenagers at the time I was brought to the house. I grew very close to the daughter. She got married and moved out of the house when I was 6 years of age. I had been going to church with my Great aunt and learned about praying. I begin praying that I could some day move with my Aunt’s daughter. Two years later they had a son he would come to the house where I lived while my cousin and her husband went to work. Four years after his birth and eight years of praying my prayers came true. I moved in with them at age twelve. This experience increased my faith and was the begin of my Christian Walk. However, I still had this yearning inside to belong to someone.

Fast forward to my twenties when I got married and had two daughters. I had rehearsed in my mind over and over that once I got married and had my own family the need for belonging would be filled. it seem to have gotten bigger and twenty years later we divorced. The feeling for the need to belong grew even greater. After working through the devastating pain divorce created and much counseling I learn that I had everything inside me to close the hole for the need to belong. I begun to practice the various tool I learned in counseling, spiritual guidance and books on worthiness to recapture and build my self-esteem. This life lesson is what has giving me the passion and drive to start a business where I can assist other women struggling in relationship from past hurts.
