I have a deep awe for nature and my heart cries for her when I see her getting neglected, exploited and destroyed in so many ways due to human actions. When I first discovered Biomimicry I knew that here was a tool that could reconnect people to nature and start us innovating with nature instead of against. This has brought me a lot of hope but it has taken me 5 years of learning in the areas of personal development, entrepreneurship and biomimicry to get to the point where I am today. Claiming that I have a business idea (I work for scientists, product developers and companies who have a triple bottom line of profit, people and planet and are looking to innovate for greater sustainability). I haven’t been able to see how I could fit into the way people usually work with innovation and I surely couldn’t see that my gift in the world had any worth. It has been a long way of start/stops, enthusiasm/depression and hope/disappointment. Going through the process in “Start With You” has made me clear enough to be able to express my big why´s. Realizing that I cannot get closer to having my own business without claiming my spot in the world and start finding my customers / communicating with them. I still can’t see for myself precisely what my business is going to look like but I have a “getting started idea” that is giving me enough momentum to start the communication. I have finally realized that´s the conditions for being a pioneering entrepreneur. I have to move on without having a map and that is only possible when I get conscious about and comfortable enough with who I am.

Going through all the questions in Start With You, listening to Marisa and her JV partner´s empowerment talks and getting coached by Marisa has brought me all the way. It has brought me so deep into my roots that I am forever grounded.
