Before I took this training, I had lots of difficulty choosing my True North Business to embark on as I am retired now from my academic life. I had several business ideas in mind, but frankly I found it very difficult, if not impossible to zero on one. I did not have any techniques of sorting them out effectively.

Hence when I got Marisa’s invitation to register for this 6-weeks training, I jumped on it immediately. I am glad I did because it enabled me after those 6-weeks to choose my True North Business. The training even gave me the required tools needed to use.

The completion of this course has helped me find my True North Business and has equipped me with the knowledge required. Through this course I have been able to determine my XYZ statement that wraps around my business holistically, namely, “To make complex Maths problems easy for learners to understand and to develop an inquiry relations with Maths with curiosity, courage, confidence and intuition.”

In my over 40 years of teaching and tutoring Maths to learners, I have always been saddened by the number of students gripped by Maths stigma. With what I have learned through this training by Marisa, I am now more confident to continue to conquer this Maths stigma further as a retired Professor of Mathematical Sciences so that learners can enjoy its beauty and the tremendous contribution it brings to humanity. This is my main reason why I chose this topic for my True North Business and implementing it will be my greatest joy in addition to it bringing me some income.
